How do we get rid of Gynecomastia for Army, Navy, or Civil service aspirants to clear the medical exam?
Men who experience gynecomastia, or breast hypertrophy, experience unnaturally enlarged breasts that resemble those of a woman.
In 70% of instances, it more frequently affects both sides of the chest.
Gynecomastia comes in two flavors: Pseudogynecomastia, where breasts form as a result of fat accumulation in the breast region, and True Gynecomastia, whose main feature is enlarged glandular tissues.
The following are the causes of gynecomastia:
Idiopathic gynecomastia refers to gynecomastia that has no known cause in the majority of cases. But there are some things that can make gynecomastia more likely. Gynecomastia patients are becoming more prevalent in India as a result of rising obesity rates, increased anabolic steroid usage, and environmental contamination with estrogen-like chemicals.
Typically, it is brought on by a rise in the testosterone-to-estrogen ratio (male hormone).
The “female” hormone estrogen promotes breast tissue growth, whereas the “male” hormone testosterone inhibits breast tissue growth.
According to severity, there are four different forms of clinical gynecomastia:
Small growth in grade 1, but no extra skin on the chest
Moderate growth in grade 2, but no extra skin on the chest.
significant chest growth in grade 3 with excess skin on the chest
Grade 4 breast enlargement with visible markings and additional skin
How can gynecomastia be treated?
In certain circumstances, non-surgical options like diet, exercise, Ayurvedic medications, and even tablets can be somewhat helpful in treating minor gynecomastia.
In most cases, pre- or pubertal gynecomastia in males goes away on its own once hormone levels are back to normal.
Who may choose to have surgery? What should the person’s age range be?
Any male who is at least 18 years old and in good health may choose to get this operation. Exceptions are there as surgeries have been performed for people as young as 14 years of age.
